Slowly heat up the heavy cream in a small saucepan on low heat while stirring.
Add in the Hershey syrup and continue stirring to keep it from sticking.
Next, add the peanut butter to the mixture and continue stirring to mix the peanut butter in while it melts.
Keep stirring for approximately 5-6 minutes until the sauce simmers and reaches the desired creamy consistency. It will also get a shiny appearance as it thickens. If you prefer a thinner sauce, you can add a Tablespoon or 2 additional heavy cream.
This sauce is amazing over ice cream or could also be drizzled over apples/bananas, cheesecake/cake/or brownies…or whatever sounds delicious to you.
Sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks and can be warmed in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.
